🏆 What an incredible 4 days of sailing at the 2025 NZL Tornado Nationals! A huge thank you to the New Zealand Multihull Yacht Club, Milford Cruising Club, and all the race officials & volunteers for putting on a slick event.
🥇Congratulations to the mixed crew of Winston Ordish-Benner and Shanae Ahern on their “Thundercat” Tornado for taking out the national title! 
The competition was fierce in some truly testing conditions—ranging from light and shifty to survival mode.
With racing incredibly tight, the final result came down to a tie-break on countback:
Wayne Lymbrick & Dave Lineham took 2nd place
Stu MacKinven & James Reynold rounded out the podium in 3rd place!A massive shoutout to all the competitors for some epic racing and top-tier banter. The Tornado class is alive and thriving—looking forward to the next one!
