A total of 54 votes were cast, with 44 valid votes (~40% of the ITA members till today). Of the 10 invalid votes, 2 were out of date, 2 were duplicates, and the remaining 6 were from non-members of the class.
The results for each proposed modification are as follows:

- No: 5% (2 votes)

Reinforcement at the lower part of the Tornado mast spar tube
- Yes: 98% (43 votes)
- No: 2% (1 vote)

- Yes: 98% (43 votes)
- No: 2% (1 vote)
All three proposals received overwhelming approval from the valid votes, and the results are now being submitted to World Sailing for final approval. World Sailing will determine and suggest an official effectiveness date for the changes.
