World Championship – Day 1

The first day of the World Championship in La Grande Motte is over. After a short postponement of the start, two races could be sailed today under very light wind conditions of about 6-8 knots. These were tactically very demanding due to strong shifting winds. After the first day of the World Championship in La Grande Motte, Konstantinos Trigonis and crew Konstantinos Kazantzis are in first place with two very dominant race wins. In second place is the team from Australia with helmsman Brett Burvill.
Equally behind on points is Yoann Trecul with crew Thomas Ferrand from France in 3rd place.

Two more races are planned for tomorrow. After the skippers meeting the start of the third race is scheduled for 1 pm.
