The first race day of the European Championship did not go as planned, analogous to the practice race the day before. Again, several thunderstorm cells caused different wind systems to work against each other in the race field. The result was – no wind. For this reason no race could be started today. Nevertheless, the mood among the sailors was not dampened. In the evening a fantastic three-course meal was organized for the sailors. Hoping for the early south wind, three races are planned for tomorrow. The expected start for the first race is scheduled for 10 am. Fingers crossed!
