Successful Regatta at the Sport Austria Finals on Lake Achensee! ⛵🇦🇹
From June 20 to 22, 2025, the sailing competitions of the Sport Austria Finals took place at the beautiful Lake Achensee – and we were part of it! Thanks to perfect wind conditions, all eight scheduled races were completed within the first two days, with consistent northerly winds and great vibes on the water.
Victory went to the Czech-German team: helm Michaela Pavlisova (Yacht Club Kovarov) and crew Jonas Beilharz (Yacht Club Radolfzell)!
Second place was claimed by Thomas and Steffan Jessinger, and third place went to Jens Blum and Rupert Fritz.
Congratulations to all teams for exciting races and fair competition!
A huge thank you to TWV Achensee for the excellent organization, warm hospitality, and flawless race management – we’ll be happy to come back!
TWV Achensee had already proven their skills as hosts during the 2023 European Championship, and once again, they delivered a top-class event.
P.S. Feel free to come by for a regatta sometime!
