Thessaloniki, and the Nautical club of the town, has welcomed the 34 sailors from 5 nations with a nice southwest breeze of 8-12 knots for the beginning of the championship!
The perfect, shifty sailing conditions helped the race officers to finish the 2 scheduled races of the day just in time before the afternoon storm.
The battle on top for the open category is happening among three Greek teams for the Open category. This day finishes with Nikolaos Mavros and Periklis Aidinidis in first.
Equally great will be the battle for the Mixed title as 10 out of the 17 teams do participate in this category. The first mixed team of the day is the father and daughter team of Zdenek Pavlis and Klara Pavlisova.
