The World Championships in La Grande Motte are open! After the long Corona break, 24 teams from 9 nations are on the regatta field. The Practice Race took place today under perfect conditions with about 9-10 knots of wind. After a relatively short race course Konstantinos Trigonis and his crew Konstantinos Kazantis successfully won the practice race.
Afterwards the Tornado sailors rewarded themselves with cold drinks and good food at the opening ceremony. The Tornado class is looking forward to a fair and successful World Championship 2022 in La Grande Motte.
