From the 21. to 22. of June the 37th Trofeo Cisalpino was held at the “Centro Vela Dervio ASD”.
In the very beautiful scenery of the Lago di Como the wind started on lunchtime and the first race was started at 13.00 on schedule.
Due to the sunny weather the very stable thermal winds of the lake increased to about 15 knts.
This meant three races were completed on the first day. Due to the good organisation on the water the races finished at 16.00.
So there was enough time to do some extra training, work on the boat or preparations for the FIFA world cup in the evening.
On the second day again three races where done in the same conditions and the same good organisation.
On Saturday evening the sailing club organised a BBQ party and on Sunday a quick pasta party was done, before the competitors went back on the road.
Unfortunately not to many tornado sailors joined this year, we regard it as a perfect training and hope for more competitors next year.
